Thank you for your interest in the Florida Conference!
The Florida Conference is made up of three Districts, the East and West Pensacola District and the Tallahassee District. The Presiding Elders are Reverends John L. Philpot, Sr., Anthony R. Scott and Malone D. Smith. There are a total of eleven churches that make up the conference. To learn more about our pastors and churches, please visit our Directory of Churches.
The Florida Conference is located in Pensacola, Florida and the westernmost city in the Florida Panhandle and county seat of Escambia County. It is a seaport on Pensacola Bay which connects to the Gulf of Mexico.
The United States Navy Naval Air Station , the first in the United States, is located southwest of Pensacola and is home to the Blue Angels flight demonstration team and the National Museum of Naval Aviation.
Pensacola is nicknamed "The City of Five Flags" due to the five governments that have flown flags over it during its history and the "World's Whitest Beaches" due to the white sand along the beaches in the Florida Panhandle.
